THIS MONTH'S IMPACT
In honor of Easter, this month’s Faithbox is filled with products meant to prepare your heart as we remember Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice this season. With a book pointing us to notice the “holy moments,” home decor, greeting cards, a bookmark and beautiful artwork, each item is intended to point us towards sacrifice in our own lives each day as we become a vessel for God’s love to be put on display on Earth. As we work through this month together, be reminded that His sacrifice is a representation of His love for you—and He has great things in store for you!
SACRIFICE
Hey Faithbox Family,
This month we begin a new theme on the topic of Sacrifice, which is fitting for this season as we prepare our hearts for Easter to honor and praise Jesus for His ultimate sacrifice.
The dictionary defines a sacrifice as: “the surrender or destruction of something prized or desirable for the sake of something considered as having a higher or more pressing claim.” A secondary definition also defines sacrifice as “an act of offering to God.”
In simple terms, a sacrifice is something you desire that you choose to give up for a greater purpose or to a greater Person. And in reality, that’s what makes sacrificing so difficult! Because what is being given up is something valued, cherished, loved, and desirable.
Yet because we are supposed to model our lives after Jesus’ life, we are called to sacrifice on a daily basis. But we find that God invites us to sacrifice our wants, desires, and plans in order to experience something richer, more purposeful, and more in line with His desires for us.
However – because we are human – even when we know it’s what God wants, it doesn’t make it easier to lay down our desires and follow His plan. Thankfully, God has given us His Word to glean from. He sent others to pave the way and provide a roadmap that is both obedient and honoring to God.
Throughout this month, we’ll learn from a few people in Scripture—Abraham, David, Paul, and Jesus—to better understand what sacrifice looks like and how we can pursue and submit to it in our daily lives. It’s not easy, but God will give us the strength to surrender, sacrifice, and put His love on display.
The Faithbox Team
Look for the Lord.
In his new book, author, speaker, thought leader, entrepreneur, and innovator, Matthew Kelly introduces the idea of “holy moments”—moments in our lives when we have the choice to collaborate with God to allow the Holy Spirit to move. These special moments are tools designed to help us refocus and ignite a movement that can turn the tide in our culture by empowering ordinary people to live their lives one “holy moment” at a time and never let a “holy moment” pass them by.
Meet Matthew Kelly
Matthew Kelly has dedicated his life to helping people and organizations become the-best-version-of-themselves. Born in Sydney, Australia, he began speaking and writing in his late teens while he was attending business school. Since that time, 5 million people have attended his seminars and presentations in more than 50 countries. Today, Kelly is an internationally acclaimed speaker, author, and business consultant. His books have been published in more than 30 languages, have appeared on the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestseller lists, and have sold more than 50 million copies.
“Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to His name.”

Beaded Bookmark by Esperanzart
Beads with an impact.
This beautiful bookmark is handmade with a cord and bright beads to help you keep your place in any book or your Bible as you study God’s Word. This specific order of bookmarks for this month’s Faithbox employed 4 women. They will be able to earn $400 each, which is almost double that of the basic salary in Ecuador for the period of time they were working. Two of them will be using their pay to fund their college tuition, where they are studying education and electrical engineering. The other two Esperanazart women will be using the income to support themselves and their children.
Esperanzart was founded by Miguel, an Ecuadorian who survived a childhood of poverty and neglect. He lived homeless on the streets as a teenager, until a local ministry intervened and gave him a second chance. From there, Miguel developed a desire to help people in similar situations. Miguel and his wife Desi, started Esperanzart as a vocational workshop for young women coming out of sex-trafficking or harmful situations.
“Esperanza” is the Spanish word for “hope,” and their main desire is to offer hope through art. Esperanzart’s mission is to equip their participants with tools in the financial, socio-emotional, spiritual and professional areas through the production of artisan products in a safe environment that reflects the values of the Kingdom of God.
For Faithbox subscribers, Esperanzart is offering 20% off orders of $20 or more with the code: faithboxfriends

Custom Watercolor Art Designs for Sacrifice
Art for your home, office, or friend.
Madeline’s art card this month is a gorgeous reminder to continuously fix our eyes on Jesus. He made the greatest sacrifice for us when He laid His life down for us, but we also must remember that the story didn’t stop there. He proved Himself to be a powerful Savior when He rose from the dead. We can trust in Him!
Madeline is a hand-lettering and watercolor artist from Saint Louis, Missouri. She combines her love for art with her Christian faith to create beautiful art with meaning and purpose. As a teenager, Madeline started her company, Inspired Inks, with the intention of using her art as a means to uplift others with encouragement while supporting various organizations who are fighting for justice, supporting law enforcement, strengthening families, and, most importantly, sharing the Gospel!
This month’s Faithbox a 5”x7” hand-drawn art card that is designed to encourage you throughout this month’s theme. You can display it on your desk, refrigerator, or place it in your favorite picture frame for a more decorative look.
[Jesus speaking] “No one can take my life from me. I sacrifice it voluntarily. For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again.”
Spiritual Inventory
Our Spiritual Inventory Card is intended to help you get the most out of your faith by being able to track how you’re growing and where you’re going. As you start the new month, take time to reflect on each area and identify where you are doing well and where you can commit a little more focus.
Time with God: More than anything, a relationship with God is exactly that: a relationship. This area focuses on the ways you connect with God. It can include things like prayer, scripture reading, meditation, and reflection.
Relationships: You have been placed in the lives of others to make a difference! Take time each month to consider who God has placed in your life, how those relationships are developing, and what your role is to make a positive impact in their lives.
Generosity: Generosity is at the heart of who God is and all that He does. This area is about the opportunities you have to make a positive impact financially. No matter how large or small, giving financially to an organization or person in need makes an impact.
Serving: A life that’s moving forward is a life that is concerned with the needs of others. In this area of focus, consider where or how you can get involved to serve others in your life, your church, and your community.
“The purpose of my instruction is that all believers would be filled with love that comes from a pure heart, a clear conscience, and genuine faith.”
